06.26.09 - Fat Chunk
A while back a good friend of mine, Jimmy Aquino and approached me and asked if I wanted to do some unpaid but 'super totally awesome' work for him, that had the promise of exposure, candy, whores and ale, and superpowers of my choosing. Like the gullible Canadian gal I am I totally bought it hook-line-and sinker, and was Jimmy's unpaid slave for a month whilst I worked endlessly under his tyrannical rule. I had never worked with a writer before, and it had it's ups, and downs, but it was an all around good experience for me, and him, and we are now both featured in the Zombie Anthology Fat Chunk 2 from Slave Labour Graphics (SLG) by Jamie Smart.

We did a three page comic called "Jesus Christ Zombie Star" Jimmy did the writing, and I did the illustrations :)

Fat Chunk

It is available to purchase at Slave Labor Graphics, Amazon, or at your fine local comic book shops.

Also Here is a really fun radio interview about the work I did in the Fat Chunk Anthology. You can hear my absolutely retarded voice, and me forgetting what my comic is about, again. Hahah.

Photobucket

Made it back to Canada safe and sound, and managed to get myself all set up. I still have a lot of cleaning and unpacking to do....buuut I still haven't done Mondays comic yet, so I gotta get crackin' on that.

While I was visiting in Chapel Hill NC I was interviewed by Badger, who is one of the Casket Crew members for Rotting Flesh Radio. You can listen to it HERE! It's about 79 minutes into the show, but please listen to the whole thing, especially if you are into the horror genre (and zombies duh!), they have a lot of interesting topics regarding merch and tradeshows (this is a very helpful radio show for me actually!). It was really cool how he and myself were in the same area at the same time, it seems like this area is a zombie hotspot. Badger was awesome and really friendly and I think it went smoothly! Its a really good show. :)
Updated the look of the TZH site. I like it :)
Went to see the immigration lawyer, there is a LOT of visas and stuff, we at least have a plan now, and hopefully I won't be separated from everyone in NC for too long :( 'sides its friggin' cold in the Sault!
10.20.08 - Buy stuff.
Okay guys! You wanted em! Now you got em! This is TOTALLY why my commissions are being rather pokey, I am SO sorry. I still need to go through my email as well--and yes--OH LOOK T-SHIRTS.

Also!

The higher the auction goes, the faster the t-shirts will be produced, the revenue from the auction will be put towards the hoodie and t-shirt production. And since this infected tee is already made we can have it shipped to you sooner! :D
09.13.08 - TZH Downtime
The reason for TZH's downtime is probably because of this. Our server is in Texas...which is currently being harassed by Hurricane Ike.

Dunno when we'll be back online! But people who are in Ike's path I wish you the best!
08.25.08 - Halp!
Hey guys! Working on a webcomic? Have a website designed but no idea how to code it? Is there a bug on your site that annoys you but you don't know how to fix it?

HIRE GREG!! HE IS OFFERING HIS TALENTS!!

He is a fantastic codemonkey and if it wasn't for him, the TZH site wouldn't be possible! You can contact him at greg@thezombiehunters.com or you can check out his mini portfolio page HERE!

Hiring Greg helps out TZH as well. Having a well fed code-man with Internet and a roof over his head keeps this comic running!
You can take a gander at em HERE.
06.13.08 - Yes.
Hahaha my site is apparently worth an estimated $55,005.5. I love the particularly useless graphs they have.
06.01.08(no subject)
I have been absolutely miserable today. Just don't want to get into it because of the excessive emo.

Anyways.

TZH site is down, as well as many others that were in the same building as our server (schlock mercenary, and everyone involved with blank label comics) our hosts are working to get everything back online.
We expect the site to come back up sometime this afternoon. However, if things take longer than that, I'll post Monday's comic on my DeviantART site promptly at midnight, so I won't miss miss an update. Woo!

The official technical blah blah message for our outage is as follows:

"The data center at which Blank Label Comics is housed had a catastrophic failure early this evening, blowing out three walls of their power room. They are anticipating that systems will begin coming back online Sunday afternoon, but until then, temporary sites will be put together to give you additional information.

Bookworm Computing with Blank Label Comics"

Hopefully stuff will be online by then, but being the optimist that I am...I don't think so.
